Pictures and little ones

We had a really fun day yesterday. In the morning we went and visited a photographer and just loved them. They were awesome, their presentation was awesome, the pictures were great, oh it was all just so good. I think we're going to go with them. Which would be great because it would be a final checkmark on the main things needed for the wedding.

Afterwards we headed over to Mike and Stacey's (future bil and sil) to watch little Colin. He is just so darn cute and he's getting so big! He is walking now and was just walking around blabbering the whole time. It was too cute!!!

Once M and S got home, we all went out to dinner (an over priced dinner...might we add) and then made our way home. We had a great day!

Little C. He had Uncle Ryan's shoes on but we didn't get the camera quick enough!

Isn't he just adorable?!

This is my twin. Well not really, but we will have the same names once I'm married to Mr. McIntyre! :-)

Uncle Ryan and Colin playing video games together! I had to capture this picture. R was playing a video game and Colin had a controller that wasn't on. They were both sitting there staring at the television 'playing the game'. It was too cute! I think Colin thought he was really playing the game!

Auntie Bella and Colin. We were trying to get him to understand that I have the same name as the dog, but when R would ask him where Auntie Bella was he would look around for Bella the dog!

Our last 'issue'

In preparing for our wedding, we are pretty set. Well, kind of. The only major 'issue' we have is our photographer.
This 'issue', you ask?
We don't have one yet!
I see that as a problem. It's not a huge issue right now, seeing how we do have six months to go, but I really want to find one and be set. I don't want to have to worry about it anymore.
My problem is, I'm having a hard time picking one.
For one, they are all so freakin' expensive. And if they're not, they aren't that great. This is our wedding day and I want good pictures. It's all we will have to remind us of this beautiful, glorious day. That and our memories, which slowly fade over time.
We have an appointment tomorrow to meet with one that is very promising, but the prices, oh the prices!
If you live in the Chicagoland area or you know of any good photographers in the Chicagoland area, do you have any suggestions?!
And remember, people, price is an issue. Well not a HUGE issue, but I like mid range prices with good photos! :-)

Tasting

We had our tasting last night for our wedding reception. It was actually really nice. A bit shorter than we had anticipated, but that was to our liking.

We got to nosh on cream cheese filled cucumbers, mini beef wellington (our fave), calamari, filet, chicken parm and chicken marsala. I think there was a little too much wine in the chicken marsala, but we're not having that...so that's a good thing! :-)

We had a really good time together though and it was something fun to experience together.

Pardon my no pictures. I DID bring the camera, but completely forgot to take any pictures!

I loved going back to Astoria to see the place again. It reminded me of how much I love it there!

Countdown 9 months and 1 day

Did you read that above? There are, as of today, NINE MONTHS AND ONE DAY until our blissfull wedding day! I am SO super excited and I truly can't wait for that day to come. Honestly, I wish it was much sooner than that, but also am in no rush. I can't wait for the day when my name will change, I will be a wife, I will have a husband, and we will start the rest of our lives together.

Now, along with being excited I am also kind of stressing myself out! I hate it! You see, I am a planner...I like to plan things ahead of time and get them done with. I went to look at the 6-9 month check list and I'm starting to think of all the things ahead that we still have to do and it's kinda freakin' me out! I get stressed out easily and well, this is easily! I just have to keep telling myself, it's okay it'll be fine don't freak out, there is plenty of time left. I wish we were loaded and could hire a wedding planner and the wedding planner could just plan everything for us. All we'd have to do it sign off on what she is doing! Wouldn't that be grand?!
