Wedding at Work

Last Thursday at work, we had our monthly department lunch where everyone makes something and we combine and make a meal out of it.

This past Thursday we had some ohsoyummy chili, soup and salad. It was soooo good!

I went out on my break and came back and spotted a cake on my way back to my desk. I was actually thinking to myself, ugh...cake too...I'm so stuffed already!

Then as I got closer I read it and this is what it said...


I was so caught off guard! It was so sweet!!! I would have never expected it.

I thought it was so thoughtful that they thought of me. I'm not that close to most of them.



This is the display from the top. I still haven't figured out if it's made out of sugar or if it's plaster or something.

I just had to share, I thought it was such a great surprise!

Day 3 of 30: Back to the daily grind

Have I mentioned that if I had the choice, I wouldn't work?!

Who wouldn't though.

My Mister got in on time yesterday from the airport. He ended up getting on the flight that he was originally booked on. Yay for that!!! It's so nice to have him back home!

He had a big day today! He started at his new job and we got to car pool together to and from work. Just for today though.

Yep, we are working in the same office! We're on opposite sides of the building though so we're not working together. It was fun to carpool today!

On another note, I had my very first dress fitting today. It went really well and I just can't wait for our wedding. I can't wait to be off of work for 2 week and to go to Jamaica for a FULL WEEK. Oh what fun!!!

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching, can you believe it?! Speaking of which, can I keep my pumpkin stuff up for fall decor still or must I put it away and get something more harvesty out? Help, please?

Wish we were still on vacation...

It's been so hard to be back at work this week, especially the first day back. We weren't even gone super long on vacation, but boy do I wish I could retire! ha!


Not to mention my Mister is gone for the week. It's so lonely when I'm home and he's not. I guess what they say is true...absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Not that I'm not fond of him already.

And guess what...I'm going to see High School Musical 3 on Saturday, jelous?! :-)

Exciting News!

I have some exciting news...

I interviewed for and have accepted a new position at work!!!

I am so excited and looking forward to the change, and did I mention I get to work normal working hours rather than a schedule of 1030-700pm every day? Oh I didn't, well...I do! How awesome is that?!

Working 9 to 5

Well those aren't necesarily my work hours, but I am sick of it!

Is it time for me to retire yet?! haha!

Really, can we win the lottery or have some strange luck come our way?

Because that would really make my day right now...

Easy Week...

I don't have much for you today. This week is going to be a nice and easy week.

I get to work un-normal hours at work this week...which is SO welcomed! I'll actually have an evening, rather than getting home from work, eating dinner, trying to wind down and going to bed.

We did get new bikes, so we're going to go for a bikeride tonight after we eat dinner. I'll try to take some pics, give me something exciting to post on the blog! ha!

Other than that, I'm kind of happy to lay low this week. I am going on Thursday to figure out flowers for our centerpieces at the wedding. That should be fun!
