MY FIRST CHICAGO BEARS GAME!!!
Well it was my first real football game too! We had a great day. It stinks that they lost, but I had a fun experience! I thought it was going to be a little bit cooler, but au contraire, it was pretty stinkin' hot out. Not to mention we were in the endzone in the direct sunlight! By the time we left, my hair felt like I had taken a shower (um, yeah, it was full of sweat!). I did get some much needed sun, although my sunglasses did a great job of giving me a raccoon sunburn on my face. :-)
I decided to put up all the pictures that we had so here you go...
Sit back, relax and put your feet up! Oh and these are for you guys, Mike and Stacey so go on and save picture as!

Are you ready for some football?!
I have to admit, I was never one for football, but with my Mister being an avid Bears fan, I thought that I should participate and get into the game. So...I went out and got myself a Football for Dummies book. I made it part way through, skimming some pages. After reading that and watching a few games (and asking plenty of questions), I got the just of it. I still don't know certain technicalities, but I can watch a game and get excited!
And guess what?!?! I'm going to my first Bears game, let alone my first official football game next Sunday! Even better? It's the home opener at Soldier Field! Pretty cool, huh?! Added bonus? I'm going with my Mister and my soon-to-be brother and sister in law! I'm positive it will be a wonderful day!

Fall is in the air
"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." ~George Eliot
Fall is my absolute FAVORITE season of all time! I love that it's not too hot but it's not too cold either and if it is a little cold, well then I welcome it! I love that crisp feeling in the air and wearing jeans and sweaters! I love having all of our windows open and snuggling up on the couch with a blanket!
Oh I could just go on and on about all of the things that I love about fall!
Ryan and I went to Hobby Lobby the other day in search of all things fall (well mostly I dragged Ryan to Hobby Lobby in search of all things fall!). I wanted to get some new decorations, but when I was there, I was just at a loss as to what I could create. It bums me out when that happens. I want to make some things, but I just can't seem to think of anything. And if I do see something cute I always come up with an excuse of I have no place to put it! Argh! What to do?
What are some of your favorite fall decorations? (Zizi Nikki...what should I do?! Any suggestions for our place?)
Please ignore that ugly wire down there, it's for the cable! I got that cute little white pumpkin on the top shelf of the lamp, I think I love white pumpkins now! Of course, I had to break out my Yankee Candle in Macintosh, my favorite fall candle scent! I also got the little vase/bowl on the bottom at HL and filled it with what was supposed to vanilla scented decorative potpourri (yeah, it didn't smell like much!).
This is a close up of the bowl...didn't come out all too clear (hello new camera?!)
Here is that white little pumpkin that I think is so darn cute! I got it, along with the orange little one below at Walgreens for $0.99!
These are some of my other finds. I got that cute little orange pumpkin from Walgreens (ninetynine cents...woo hoo! ha!) and then that wirey pumpkin thing on the right from Hobby Lobby, I like how rustic it looks. I got some yummy smelling cinnamon candles to go in it. Pretty cute!
And of course you HAVE to have candy corn!!! Those things hurt my teeth so bad, but I love them! Clearly its Bears Season, so we had to break out the Chicago Bears Glass Dish! GO BEARS!!! We will be going to the home opener two Sundays from this coming Sunday, we just can't wait! Are any of you all football fans? I wasn't until I entered into the McIntyre clan...those boys are Bears fanatics! It's kind of fun, something to look forward to doing every Sunday in the fall!
