Rainbows

It was kind of rainy yesterday. In the evening it's usually pretty bright out on a good day. Yesterday, it decided to get really dark out of nowhere and I had to actually turn the light on in the living room.

Then it got bright again.

A little bit later, part of the sky was dark and just a little line was really bright.

Kind of weird.

But I did get to see a rainbow. And when I was admiring it and snapping some shots, I noticed there was another rainbow forming to the right of it.

These pictures don't do what they sky looked like justice. Not even the rainbows.

Which brings me to the fact that I need want a new camera.

But that's a whole 'nother issue in itself. :-)

See the line of lightness right above the trees? Now imagine it a little bit darker outside, above that. That's what it really looked like.

I just thought this was a neat picture. The darkness with a bit of the rainbow.

It's Monday again...

I know, that sounds so uplifting doesn't it?! The weather here has been just so dreary and blah it makes me feel horrible every day!

I need some sunshine darn it!

I can't wait for the day when we a) either win the lottery and don't have to work anymore or b) when my future hubby makes it big in his band and then makes a lot of money and I don't have to work! haha! Fat chance of those happening in the near future...I can continue to dream though!

We also just found out (well I just found out...R knew about it {just had his days mixed up}) that we are going on a ROAD TRIP this Saturday! We are heading up to Minneapolis. His band is playing up there, so that should be fun! I'll try to take some good pics and post them on here!

Clouds, cats, dogs and us

I am SO happy that the weekend is finally here! Like I've said many times before...why can't we have 4 day work weeks and 3 day weekends?! I'll have to talk to somebody about that one!

Last night, we got to have our PIZZA FRIDAY since my Mister didn't have a show. It was so nice and relaxing. We ate some pizza and caught up on a little Last Comic Standing. It was oh so nice and oh so relaxing. Today, we're going to go see The Strangers once Ryan gets off of work...I can't wait and I know I'm going to be freaked out well after the movie is over...that's just how I am with scary movies (i.e. taking Mason out at night by myself or being home alone!).

We haven't had that great of weather the past couple of days. It's been sticky and humid and rainy with the sun occassionally deciding to bless us with it's presence. While we were lounging around on the couch last night, we looked out the window and there were some amazing clouds outside. These pictures definitely DO NOT do it justice. It almost looked like a huge smoke filled sky from a fire.

It was pretty amazing looking!

Another thing that I've noticed over the past week...Roxy loves this bench. Right around 9:00pm every single night, she hops up here and lays for maybe ten minutes. It's so weird though, because it seriously happens right around the same time every since night! Does she know that she's doing that?! I just find it so strange!

Also...I haven't posted finished pics of the bench because I'm not fully done with it. I have to paint another coat and get a red pad for it and I don't want to do the before and after until I'm done. It's been so rainy and humid that I don't want to paint it outside and then have to bring it in wet!

Here we are saying HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU ALL!!! We always take pics like this and I never like how they come out...yet there are always millions of them! ha!

At one point last night, we were taking pictures of Roxy cat and her eyes would come out like this every single time! Is she possesed or something?! ha! It must just be her soul showing!!!

Somewhere over the rainbow

Actual rainbow outside our window tonight! Photo compliments of my Mister :-)

We've had really bad weather here today. It was fine in the morning, then downpoured like crazy and stormed really bad. Then it semi cleared up and got windy and then it stormed a bit again! It's been nuts! On my way home from work it was getting a bit dark and yellow-ish looking outside. When I got inside, Ryan spotted a rainbow outside. Isn't it so pretty?!

Outlook: SNOOOOOWWWWW!!!

Well, boys and girls...ITS GONNA BE A SNOWY ONE!

4 to 12 inches of snow here in the Midwest! I don't mind it, but I'd

rather be sitting at home and not having to work in the mess!
