It's my birthday! {by Mason}

Hey guysh - it's me, Mason! Today is my birthday!!!

After I read Kelly's Blog Post (while my mom was in the other room!) I thought this would be perfect for me - especially since it's my birthday!

I'm three years old today and I got a lot of real food at dinner tonight because of it...mmm!

So anyways, here are six random facts about me...

1) I love to take up a lot of space in my mom and dad's bed. When they disrupt my slumber I growl, moan and give a guilt trip then get into my own bed.

2) I love McDonald's french fries - especially late at night!!!

3) I love going to the dog park - it really puts me in my place. I normally think I'm a big mean dog when I'm on the leash, but once I'm off - I'm really a little mama's boy.

4) I love to do things I shouldn't when my parents are gone. Sometimes I jump up on the forbidden red couch and drink coffee that was left out.

5) Don't tell her - but I love my sister Roxy. I loooove to annoy her!!! I stalk her every time that loud vacuum comes out - she tries to hide from it...

6) My mom tries to put sweaters on me - but I usually don't let her. Sometimes I'll humor her. I heard some talk about boots...get me outta here!!!!!

Good night...I think I have a bone hidden somewhere in this couch!

Happy Birthday To Me (and) I Take It Back

Well...today I am 26 years old. Of course, it doesn't feel any different than any other birthday. Another year...as I've said...I love birthdays! I don't dread them, it's going to happen anyways.

Aging that is.

So I choose to embrace it!

I got the above wonderful, warm Columbia coat from my Mister AND Twilight...the book! I can't wait to start digging into it.

The book that is.

And my coat is so comfy, I only had dressy peacoats. So it'll be wonderful to his this!

And I take back the sad little Charlie Brown tree that we had...

I happened to see this fake (yes, fake) tree at Walgreens yesterday. I wouldn't look twice, but I noticed that is was sale for $19.99!

Yes $19.99!!!

We went back today to get it. And I just happened to have a $5 off coupone that printed out from the register yesterday. Plus, we bought the cute little gold glittery star topper. All in all, we paid $17 and some change! How awesome is that?!

I thought we wouldn't get much of a good tree for the price that we paid but it is actually pretty nice.

And bonus?

It's pre-lit with white lights!

Love it!!!

I decided to only use certain colored bulbs this year. I chose red, green, silver and gold. I added some red and silver ribbon we had laying around. I want all silver...we shall see...

I love it though!

I also have to add that we started AND finished our Chritmas shopping last night.

I also wrapped all presents today and they are currently decorating our empty space below the tree.

I love the Christmas season!

Day 14 of 30: My birthday is a month from today and I like dog clothes

I just realized earlier in the day that my birthday is EXCACTLY one month away! yay!

I'm the kind of person who actually looks forward to their birthday each year.

I don't dread it at all. I don't think of it as getting older because you know what...you're going to age every single year, it's inevitable...so just embrace it!

And I try to rub off my happiness about birthdays to all that surround me! ha!

I'm sure many of you are anti dog clothes. To some point I agree. I don't like dressing them up all the time or putting boots or shoes on them, but I do love looking through dog clothes. They just look so darn cute!

That being said, can you imagine my cute Mason (picture above) in the adorable red sweater (picture below)?!?!

Soon enough you will be able to see a live picture of him in it!

Honestly, I've been eyeing it for more than a year now and had never just bought it. Now I did!!!

Plus, he is getting his hair cut tomorrow, so once it comes he'll look extra cute!!!

Happy Birthday {again!}

Yesterday we had some of my family over for Ava's Family Birthday Party.

This, of course, sent me into a cleaning frenzy ALL DAY LONG on Saturday. So much so that when I woke up on Sunday morning, the tops of my thighs (not sure what that muscle group is called) were sore, yes...sore from cleaning! You could imagine my delight in knowing that I didn't feel bad working out at all over the weekend! I did it while cleaning, right?! ha!

I had to do something special for her! She's my little mini me! I got her a happy birthday decoration and she LOVES Hannah Montana, so I got those decorations hanging there too! She took those home with her to hang up in her room!

Of course there were presents!

And plenty of Barbies! Including one that feeds little doggies bottles and those little doggies piddle after (actually I'm sure while) drinking their bottles...good luck with that one Mom and Dad! :-)

Per Ava's request, Grandma made her a cheesecake for her birthday. I got her a number candle, for some reason she loves those?! And I also got some trick candles! Only one of them worked, but she got a kick out of it!

Our camera was acting up again...dang thing! Some of the pics are a little bit blurry...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA!!!

Happy Birthday Jenny!

I feel like I haven't posted in forever and I do have pictures from the weekend, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Today I wanted to give a (day late) shoutout on my blog to one of my best friends. J.E.N.N.Y! It was her birthday yesterday.

She is one of the best friends that I have, and someone I can pretty much tell anything to. We have very similar minds and I'm very blessed to have her as my friend and someone who I can plan my wedding along side.

Happy Birthday Jenny! I hope your birthday was all that you wanted it to be!

By the way, you can check her out here.

Her present all ready and waiting to be opened! Oh the suspense is killing ME!

Friday night birthday celebration

We went to a little bar/pizza place on Friday night for Cody's (my cousin) and Morgan's (my sil) birthdays. Cody's was about a week ago and Morgan's is coming up this week. We had some yummy beer nuggets and some pizza! It was a fun time, although it was loud in there and there were so many conversations going on around my head that I couldn't concentrate and it was driving me crazy?! Yeah, I know, I'm a little weird! :-)

One more for the road!

Last night, after I got off of work I took Ryan out for his birthday. It was his choice and he chose Salutos. Mmm...or so we thought...it turned out not being as good as it usually was, but the salad and bread was still good...and so was the calamari! The other stuff...not so much! It was still fun though!

I love my birthday and I try to make Ryan feel special on his birthday! I left him this note for when he got home from work and I wasn't home. He had to wait to open the gifts until later :-)

Here is the BIRTHDAY BOY!!! This is when we were at dinner.

I hate that angle...how unappealing!

After dinner we went to Kohls for some shopping. I got 2 shirts for only $14...woo hoo! Then it was back home for some gifts! He liked everything I got him and I think all in all, it was a good birthday!
Happy Birthday baby! Oh and I like to drag out my birthday, so I say the whole weekend is his birthday weekend! :-)

Happy Birthday!!!

Yesterday was this cute little guy's birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLIN!!!

The birthday boy

Last night, Ava slept over. She was going to be coming with us to Colin's 1st birthday party and I thought it would be easier if she slept over...I have broken sleep all night last night, so I'm beat!

On the way to the party

Ava had a blast today, she was all worn out. She was so cute, I would catch her playing with Colin and crawling along with him. She made some quick friends today and had so much fun!!!

This is what I got today...some good 'ole fashion sunburn. I didn't even feel it or notice it until later tonight. It was so beautiful out today. The sun was out and the wind blew at just the right times, I never felt warm or burnt...until the way home.

We had a GREAT day today! I am just super tired and am so out of it! Time to relax and watch some tv!

Happy Birthday To Me...

I had the most FABULOUS 25th birthday weekend EVER!!!
Yay! Now I am out of the 18-24 demographic!
For those of you wondering (ha! probably no one) here is how it went...

1. Friday was my actual birthday, so we get it off AND paid at my work! I woke up at 5:00am! This was not by choice, I can normally fall back asleep after Mister R wakes up for work, but not that day! I must have been too excited for my own birthday! My mom came over around 9:00am and we went shopping at the local outlet mall. Thankfully we went early enough to beat the crowd! Around lunchtime, me and my mother met Mister R's mom for lunch! It was a great time and I am just so happy that everyone gets along and can spend time just hanging out together. Mister R's mom is great, I love her! I couldn't ask to feel any more welcome into the family! After a long day of shopping I went home and wrapped some stocking stuffers that I bought for Mister R and tried to shove them into his stocking! He came home from work and I got to open my PRESENT...finally!!! I thought all long that it would be jewelry...BUT I GOT AUTOMATIC START ON MY NEW CAR!!! I was so shocked and amazed that he pulled it off! I just LOVE it!!! We went to WILDFIRE for dinner and that was awesome too. We were going to go see a movie, but decided to skip it and go home!

2. Saturday, the BAND that Mister R is in had a show downtown at The Beat Kitchen (one of my favorite places that they play). Along with my birthday it was Sean (the drummer) and a few others birthday weekends as well. Let's just say we had a great celebration! I may have had a few too many to drink...but HEY it's MY birthday and I think that's okay! An honorable mention goes out to myself for flushing my license down the toilet...NO PEOPLE not purposely...it came out of my back pocket...and I was NOT about to stick my hand in there and get it! A BIG THANKS to this girl for trying to plunge it out, but to no avail...it didn't work. I hear that the toilet was out of order the rest of the night...SORRY!!!

3. Sunday was the day of rest! I had a great weekend and didn't want it to end...BUT ALAS all good things must come to an end...till next year!

P.S. THANKS TO ALL FOR THE CALLS/EMAILS/TEXTS..I JUST LOVE MY BIRTHDAY!
